The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I know this bear was just trying to get a different view, but I loved how different he appeared to me when he stood up. Maybe just curious, maybe to intimidate, or maybe he just want to be noticed. Either way as I painted 'Taking A Stand' kept playing in my mind. How many times in life we must stand up for what ever reason.
